What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing treatment that helps to restore balance, calm the mind and support overall wellbeing. It works with the body's natural energy flow, encouraging deep relaxation and a greater sense of harmony.

What Happens During a Reiki Session?

  • 1. A Warm Welcome

    We start with a relaxed conversation, I’ll ask a few questions to get to know you, understand how you're feeling, and what you'd like to get out of the session. Whether you're completely new to Reiki or have had it before, it’s important to meet you where you are.

  • 2. The Reiki Session

    You’ll then lie down (fully clothed) and get comfortable, with blankets, soft music, and time to just be.I’ll gently channel Reiki energy by placing my hands lightly over or just above the body, working through the energy centres (chakras). Most people feel deeply relaxed, calm, or even a little emotional. It’s a very peaceful experience.

  • 3. Aftercare & Debrief

    Once the session ends, we’ll take a moment to talk about what came up, anything I noticed, and how you felt. It’s a lovely way to ground yourself before heading back into the day, and I’ll share any insights or simple tips you can take away.

Our Treatment Space

My practice is based in Dukinfield, Tameside, in a quiet, private space designed to help you feel safe, comfortable, and completely at ease.

The room is calm, softly lit, and lovingly set up to encourage stillness and rest, from the scent of essential oils to the gentle sound of healing music. Everything is intentional, and everything is for you.

Whether this is your first time trying Reiki or you're returning to deepen your practice, I want you to feel welcome and looked after from the moment you arrive.
